(Linux MTA) Not able to restart Anti Spam Engine

This problem is based on a Mailshell signature update ( January 21 at approximately 0400 GMT). It isn’ t possible to start Anti Spam engine. The solution consists of deleting the signature file causing the problem and starting then the Anti-spam service. In order to do so, the following instruction must be typed in for each of the protections:

Hotfix Retail 2007/2008 – Beseitigung von Fehlern mit Treiber "PavTPK.sys"

Panda Security hat 3 Hotfixe fuer die folgenden Produkte veroeffentlicht:

• Panda Internet Security 2007 (11.01.00)
• Panda Antivirus & Firewall 2008 (7.00.00)
• Panda Internet Security 2008 (12.00.00)

Der Hotfix ist jeweils fuer Windows XP (32 Bit) und Windows Vista (32 Bit) vorgesehen.

Er korrigiert einen Fehler im Zusammenhang mit dem Treiber “PavTPK.sys”.

Gatedefender Performa 3.00.00 Hotfix Pack 300

Für den Gatedefender Performa 3.00.00 (8050/8100/8200) steht das Hotfix Pack 300 zum Download bereit.

Das Hotfixpack beinhaltet folgenden Korrekturen:

• Fixed an error that caused interruptions when sending emails through certain SMTP servers. More specifically, in SMTP conversations where the server’s response codes are sent in buffers of less than two characters.
  
• Fixed an error that caused interruptions when sending emails through certain SMTP servers. More specifically, in SMTP servers that return multi-line replies (where lines are broken down into different packets) to emails sent.
  
• Solved a navigation error when moving between the “Redirection email address (quarantine)” and the “Mail server settings” screens.  When going from the latter to the former, a 500 error was sometimes returned.
  
• On installing hotfixes that do not require a service restart a process synchronization error occurred that caused communication to be lost with certain processes, the console among them.
  
• Fixed a problem that occurred when redirecting items to quarantine. The SMTP authentication credentials were not correctly sent when a quarantined item was restored or redirected.
  
• Solved an incompatibility problem with the  ‘Scala InfoChannel File Uploader’ Java application.
  
• Fixed a problem when configuration the time zone and the time format from the console.
  
• Fixed an error with time synchronization via NTP.
  
• Fixed a problem when importing an old configuration to a GateDefender unit with a newer version installed, for example, on  importing the configuration of a 2.03.01 version to a 3.00.00 version.

Das Hotfix Pack ist kumulativ und beinhaltet alle Korrekturen, die mit dem Hotfix Pack 100 sowie 200 von Panda Security bereitgestellt wurden.

Hotfix 07 (Admin Secure 4.02.30) – Error 2101 beim Update der Virus Signatur

In manchen Faellen schlaegt das Update der Virensignatur fuer den Schutz “Panda Security for File Servers” fehl. Im Ereignisprotokoll der Admin Secure taucht der Fehler Code 2101 auf.
In diesem Fall installieren Sie bitte das Hotfix 4.02.30.0007 auf dem AdminSecure Server und allen zusaetzlichen Repositories. Das Hotfix aktualisiert den Schutz “Panda Security for File Servers” in der Version 8.02.31.0001 im Repository. Nach der Installation fuehren Sie bitte fuer die betroffenen Server ueber die AdminSecure Console eine Schutzaktualisierung durch.

Schliessen Sie vor dem Update bitte alle geoeffneten AdminSecure Consolen.
Dieses Hotfix ist ausschliesslich fuer die Version 4.02.30 der AdminSecure.
