Installation Panda AdminSecure 4.02.40

Um die Panda AdminSecure 4.02.40 zum gegenwärtigen Zeitpunkt direkt bei der Installation auf den aktuellen Stand zu bringen, empfiehlt Panda Security nach der Installation von Panda for Business oder Panda for Enterprise die Ausführung der Hotfixe 02 und 05 auf dem AdminServer und allen ggf. vorhandenen Repositorys.

Blockade von P2P-Applikationen

Panda Security hat ein Dokument bereitgestellt, welches die Massnahmen und Einstellungen zur Blockade von P2P-Applikationen durch Panda for Desktops und Panda for Fileservers beschreibt. Die hierin vorhanden Informationen koennen leicht auf die eigenen Beduerfnisse bei der Konfiguration von TruPrevent angepasst werden.

Hotfix 05 (Admin Secure 4.02.40) – Kumulativer Hotfix fuer Schutzmodule

Panda Security hat den Hotfix HAS_4_02_40_0005.exe veröffentlicht, um die Korrekturen fuer die nachfolgend genannten Probleme in Panda for Desktops und Panda for FileServers (Windows) zu implementieren.

• TimeOuts in the Internet Explorer with Webproxy and Cpoint (NetworkSecure).
• Incorrect restoration of files in quarantine when they have extended characters.
• Explorer.exe crash with Windows 2k and Outlook 2k when we try to send a mail with the contextual menu.
• When ContentFilter deletes an attached file in a mail the text of this mail is deleted too.
• Outlook crash if the MAPI32.DLL has the version 6.5.6944.0 (This version is installed with the Microsoft Exchange 2003 Administration Tools).
• Truprevent Local Alerts are incorrect when blocking an application, example
• PavXX.dat files are generated when they are no longer valid.
• AVTASK crash scanning attached .MDB files.
• The protection corrupts files copied through WebDav (SharePoint).
• AdminSecure console error 2101 when updating the signature file of FileSecure and in this machine ExchangeSecure is also installed.
• Prevent.sig file does not update correctly.
• LSP Incompatibility with VPN WatchGuard client.
• Problems between the Shield and some CRCs.
• Infected files are moved to quarantine though the first option selected is Disinfect.
• ExchangeSecure version disappears after uninstalling FileSecure in the same machine.
• If we made the deployment of AVTC.EXE through SMS “Error 5″ appears in the SMS installation logs.
• Improvement in the HTTP navigation changing Webproxy.
• It is not possible to browse the intranet through Cisco VPN client and if NDIS IM filter is enabled.
• Compatibility between Panda for File Servers and Windows Server 2008.

Steps for applying the hotfix

1. Download hotfix HAS_4_02_40_0005.exe (184 MB)
2. Save the file to your hard disk; to the Windows Desktop, for example.
3. Run the downloaded file on the computers where there is a repository, AdminServer or a console..
4. Once the hotfix has been executed, the AdminSecure 2007 services will be restarted.

Note:The update of the corrected components is automatic.

Der Hotfix ersetzt die zuvor veroeffentlichten Hotfixe HAS_4_02_30_0007.exe, HAS_4_02_40_0001.exe und HAS_4_02_40_0003.exe.

Hotfix 02 (AdminSecure 4.02.40)

Panda Security has developed hotfix HAS_4_02_40_0002.exe in order to incluye the corrections below:

• The administration console stops responding due to several errors in the AdminServer processes.
• Errors 2102 and 831 at the console when updating the protections.
• Problems when synchronizing mobile profiles.
• Problems when updating directly from the Internet.
• C++ error in the PavUpg process. 

Der Hotfix muss auf dem AdminServer und allen ggf. existierenden Repositorys installiert werden.
