Kritisches Sicherheitsupdate für Microsoft Internet Explorer

Microsoft hat gestern Abend ein außerplanmäßiges Security Patch für den IE veröffentlicht. Dieses Patch schließt eine Zero-Day-Lücke im Internet Explorer. Wir empfehlen allen Benutzern ein sofortiges Windows Update des Betriebssystems.

Migration der 2007er Retail Produkte auf die 2008er Versionen

Am Montag, den 18.02.2008, wird die Migration der 2007er Lizenzen auf die 2008er Versionen beginnen.

Kunden, die ein entsprechendes Produkt lizensiert haben, können dann die 2008er Version von den Downloadseiten herunterladen.

Der Prozess wird in folgenden Schritten ablaufen:

• 2007er Lizenzen werden auf die 2008er umlizensiert.
• Das installierte Produkt wird normal weiterarbeiten.
• Um die 2008er Version zu nutzen, muss der Kunde die 2008er Version aus dem Downloadbereich herunterladen und installieren.
• Alle Kunden werden über dieses Update per Mail informiert.

Oracle Kompatibilitaet (8.1.7 oder hoeher)

nach der Installation des Schutzes kann die Oracle Datenbank Anwendung nicht gestartet werden und bringt eine Fehlermeldung aehnlich dieser:

Hotfix Retail 2007/2008 – Verbesserung der Firewall-Technologie

Panda Security hat 4 Hotfixe fuer die folgenden Produkte veroeffentlicht:

• Panda Antivirus & Firewall 2007 (6.01.00)
• Panda Internet Security 2007 (11.01.00)
• Panda Antivirus & Firewall 2008 (7.00.00)
• Panda Internet Security 2008 (12.00.00)

Der Hotfix ist jeweils fuer Windows XP (32 Bit) und Windows Vista (32 Bit) vorgesehen.

Er verbessert die Firewall-Technolgie und behebt Inkompatibilitaeten mit verschiendenen DSL-Modems.

Deinstallation der 2007er Produkte

Falls die Deinstallation ueber die Deinstallationsroutine
Start –> Programme –> Panda… –> Deinstallation fehlschlaegt,
kann das Produkt durch folgenden externen Uninstaller deinstalliert werden.

• Blocking of WiFi printer due to detected ports scan
• Random network loss
• Problems with the Audio/Video Streaming via the Internet
• Problems to access the Internet through the ISA Server
