• Processor: Pentium III 800 MHz. The processor requirements may increase as the size of the network increases. For large networks (more than 500 computers), it is advisable to have a dedicated computer.
• Memory: 256 MB of RAM, although around 1 GB is recommended for large networks.

Panda MalwareRadar remote execution tool requirements

The minimum requirements in order to use the remote execution tool are:

• Operating system:
  Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Enterprise Server,Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows XP Professional Edition 32/64 bits, Windows Server 2003 (Enterprise Edition) 32/64 bits, Windows Server 2003 R2 SP1 32/64 bits, Windows Vista 32/64 bits
• Processor: Pentium 166 MHz (or higher)
• RAM memory: 128 MB or higher.
• Graphic card: Minimum resolution of 800×600 pixels, at 256 colors.
• Hard disk: 100 MB of free space.
• Web browser: Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.

Other requirements:
On the computers to be scanned:

• To have the option File and printer sharing for Microsoft networks enabled.
• To have the option Use simple file sharing disabled.
• To either disable the Windows firewall option or to disable the File and printer sharing option

On the computer where the scan originates (where the tool is executed) it is necessary:

• To be able to access from the computer where the remote execution tool is being run to the shared resource Admin$ of the machines to be scanned.

The minimum requirements needed in order to use the Panda MalwareRadar client are:

  Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows NT 4.0 Enterprise Server, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Enterprise Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows Server 2003 (Enterprise Edition) 32/64 bits, Windows XP Professional Edition 32/64 bits, Windows Server 2003 R2 SP1  32/64 bits, Windows Vista 32/64 bits
• Processor: 486 at 66 Mhz or higher.
• RAM memory: 128 MB
• Graphic card: Minimum resolution of 800×600 pixels, at 256 colors.
• Free hard disk space: 100 MB
• Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
• Network: Internet connection (provided the data is directly sent to Panda MalwareRadar rather than to a sahred resource)

Other requirements:

• The scan must be launched as Administrator.
